9U's win WOBA Year End Tournament
The 9U team competed in their year end tournament in Port Elgin over the weekend of August 11 to 13 and came away with the first place medals. As per Coach Braden McGregor: "These kids had a blast and came so far this year, from the first game when we’d go three up, three down with striking out and now the entire teams hitting the ball at every at bat and hitting hard. We scored 108 runs in four games this weekend, I was very proud of them. The teams defence was so good as well, with a few double plays that made the kids scream in excitement lol. It was a pleasure to coach these lil boys and girls this year and I’m proud of how far they came."
